Causes of Back Acne or Bacne

There is no fix causative factor for developing back acne. Medical researches show that there are some glands under the skin called sebaceous glands. They secrete something oily, called sebum. These glands are more active and aggressive around the puberty. The main function of these glands is to keep skin healthy and moist enough through out the life.

Sebaceous glands regularly and continuously produce and secrete sebum through the openings called as pores in the skin. Due to one or the other reason, when there is an excess amount of secretion of sebum these pores and hair follicles get blocked or clogged. This clogging makes an impediment for the dead cells to escape from the skin. The whole procedure results into mess of the sebum and dead cells under the skin plugging the hair follicle and invites bacteria to seat in. These bacteria irritate surrounding tissues and causes inflammation. This inflammation is nothing but the back acne.

Clogging of the pores could be due to excessive secretion of the sebum by sebaceous glands or could be due to some grime, pollution or outer material. The dust particles or polluted material attack on skin and remains there. If one doesn’t wash this area properly, these materials block the passage and finally produce the back acne.

Another blur theory suggest that wearing of the tight cloths (skin tight cloths) may give rise to back-acne condition. Back acne may produce by spreading the squeezed material from the acne on other site of the body. Many people have habit of squeezing the acne no if they do it with hands and touch other areas of the body, the infected material stuck to the hands will now spread on the new site performing like bowing seeds for new acne.
